Tele-Diagnosis Programme
On 27th September 2012, We had an auspicious opportunity to inaugurate our “Tele-Diagnosis, Telemedicine and Tele-Education programme” started by Space Engineers’ Welfare Society(SEWELS) at Wayanad district in 2009 to extend to other areas for the benefit of rural people and adivasis in the entire state. The ‘switch on’ programme of the above project was carried out by Hon. Minister Ms.Jayalakshmi,Minister for Welfare of Scheduled Tribes&Youth Affairs. The Tele-Diagnosis and Tele-talk was done by Dr.Jithendranath, a famous doctor from wayanad. Govt. Awarded Doctors like Padmasree Dr. Hareendran Nair,MD,Pankajakasthuri Group, Dr. Latha, Sr.Medical Officer,Ayurveda Hospital, Nedumangad Taluk, Dr.Job Thomas, Sr.Medical Officer of Kottakkal Arya vaidya pharmacy etc. were also falicitated on the occasion. R&D Centre of SIST under Dr.Omana Mammen were involved in the development of this project.
