The conveyance from a 12th standard guy to an entrepreneur was not that easy. But SIST nourished me to attain the acceleration to reach the terminal destination. A group of distinguished lecturers guided and escorted me by all means to strengthen my technical skills as well as personality. Thanks to almighty and my faculties for I have got an opportunity to see the world, start my own business, and work for will. Presently am working for NBTC-Kuwait as Engineer In-Charge and department head. Good luck to all students of Sarabhai.

The individual attention and care by the faculty in SIST to each student is highly commendable.

I had the opportunity to study Engineering from some of the brilliant minds of the country who had previous experiences in delivering sophisticated engineering end products to pioneering engineering organisations.

I always remember them with great respect and always be thankful. Not only that ,SIST has provided me with a number of opportunities to grow and explore my skills(both curricular and non curricular)

Some of the great memories of friendship,brotherhood and immense flow of wisdom from greatest minds of the country in the rustic beautiful campus of Sarabhai Institute of Science and Technology is something which I can never forget.

I remember the first time I set foot in this college back in 2015 . Unlike other colleges in Trivandrum this college is located in a remote village set in the backdrop of forests which provide a cool atmosphere throughout the year. SIST has a majority of staff who have worked in prestigious  Government institutions such as ISRO and VSSC who are willing to impart strong morals as well as subject knowledge to the students.

I was a student of Computer Science Engineering Department and was among the first batch of students in KTU university. I remember especially during our first year where the syllabus of some subjects had changed from CUSAT university and the teachers as well as the students were struggling with the change. But the teachers did a fantastic job in understanding the new course content and teaching it to us which proves that out teachers can handle any challenge thrown at them.

Our teachers encouraged us to learn from our mistakes and always reminded us of a corporate world out there which does not recruit candidates based on marks but also on their skill levels. Our teachers used to teach us or at least keep us informed about the latest trends in technology.

It was with great sadness that I left the threshold of this institution and will always remember this institution with fond memories.

Regarding the facilities our college has a massive library with more than 30 international journals and 20 national journals which should help students keep up with new improvements in their field. Regarding the computer lab our college has more than 500 computers with linux installed to help students to apply their technical knowledge.

My college days are the best part of my life. My department encouraged me to explore my talent & potential by providing an exceptional integrated learning environment. I am really grateful to my teachers who have changed my whole aspect towards learning. I express my heartfelt thanks to the institution for giving me the perfect opportunity to explore myself. I am grateful to be part of such an institution.

I, Anchitha Syam was a student of  Sarabhai Institute of Science and Technology 2015-2019 Civil Engineering Batch. SIST was the most amazing 4 years of my life yet .This college lives up to everything it offers. The college has a well advanced infrastructure with computer lab, a well stocked library  and sports facilities it also has a well managed, clean, sanitary, spacious canteen. Teachers are nice, supportive and friendly. I would like to thank all the faculties of Civil Engineering Department for their sincere efforts of bringing out the best of us and for all the motivation and encouragement they always have given us!

“Stop doubting yourself, work hard and make it happen”, this is what SIST taught me in the past 4 years.  I would like to thank my E I department for giving me strength and ability to rise from tough situations. A huge thanks to our Director Kaimal sir who is always been a constant support and a backbone in anything related to placement activities. Also a warm thanks to all the faculty members, supporting staffs and my dear friends.

Getting admission in sist was one of the best things that happened in my life. Faculty here is just amazing. They don’t just teach the book stuff but will also give you guidance on how you can bring a change in the society. They will make you feel that you have a lot of potential and you just need to realize it. The course i have done is B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and currently I am working in Aadani port ltd.
