Meeting with TVM Mayor on 18-09-18

The students of SIST have developed Paper products out of the weeds like Water hyacinth and Marsh grass at Akkulam tourist lake” ,These weeds  are found covered in major part of land and lake areas .These two weeds were tested and developed as paper and other fiber based value added products.The Thiruvananthapuram Cty Mayor arrangeed a meeting with SIST official and students   to check the feasibility of  the innovative idea and promised possible support based on submission of a proposed project
